Trophex returns to the NEC in Birmingham for 2016 on Sunday 17th January and Monday 18th January with a two-day event dedicated to trophies, awards, engraving and personalisation.
The UK’s only trophy, awards, engraving and personalisation show is set to be another impressive exhibition. With an endless display of striking trophies for the season ahead, stunning glass and pewterware, eye-catching medals, the very latest engraving machines to hit the market with hands-on demonstrations and the newest sublimation technology available, there really is something for everyone.
There will be the usual array of regular exhibitors at the 2016 show including TheMagicTouch, Glenway Products Ltd, Charles Birch and Gravograph UK Ltd. New companies represented include
Radecal Machine Sales, No.Minimum.co.uk, Time Designs and Lockdecoders Ltd – Magic Engraving.
One regular and loyal exhibitor to Trophex is Glenway Products Ltd, says Tim Wilford, Sales Director at the company: “Over a year Glenway, as a company, partake in many exhibitions and road shows, but Trophex is still by far the biggest and best attended one. The show is entirely directed at our potential end user; the trophy retailer, in their now many forms. For Trophex 2016 Glenway will be in the same position that we’ve occupied since 2001: just to the left hand side as you walk through the door of the NEC Pavilion on the third weekend of January. I think one of the reasons that Trophex has bucked the trend of falling exhibition attendances over the last few years, is the fact that its time, date and location have stayed rigid over the last 15 years. It is also an ideal time for trophy retailers to kick start their new year with the chance to see new ideas and designs.”
This year at Trophex we have some great educational seminars for you to attend which are free of charge. Like last year, these take an open forum style and include talks from Roland DG (UK) Ltd, Gravograph, Corel UK Ltd, DecoNetwork, No.Minimum.co.uk, Ralawise.com and Rayzist Photomask.
The Knowledge Centre also returns with experts from all over the industry to give you a helping hand with queries and problems you may have on a range of areas.
The Trophex Awards also return. Now in their eighth year these awards are well respected throughout the industry and recognise and celebrate both companies and individuals achievements and efforts throughout the year and at the show.
New to Trophex 2016 will be a demonstration area where experts in the field of hand engraving will be giving demonstrations of various items including signet rings, salvers and trophies.
Trophex has once again launched the ‘Trophex App’ for 2016: a great new way to keep up to date with all of the latest news and information about the Trophex Show. The official Trophex 2016 application is available for download to iOS and Android devices; you will find the application at The App Store or Google Play, just search for ‘Trophex 2016’.
