Swindon, Wiltshire – 19.06.15 – Following the recent European launch of STANLEY Security’s Mechanical Access Solutions, STANLEY Security is pleased to announce the opening of a dedicated showroom in Belgium for the new division.
Whilst STANLEY is a globally recognised tools brand, its door hardware which the company has manufactured for over 170 years and successfully sold into the American and Asian markets, has not been available in Europe until now. The launch of the first showroom dedicated to these products is designed to put STANLEY’s Mechanical Access Solutions firmly on the European map.
The new 180 square metre showroom is located within Belgium distributor Deceuninck Deforce’s premises in Kachtem. STANLEY branded throughout and with its own entrance, it features a wide range of Mechanical Access products including architectural locking cases, hinges, door furniture, emergency exit hardware and door closers, as well as excellent meeting facilities. STANLEY staff are on hand at the showroom to discuss customer requirements and help identify suitable product.
The showroom was officially opened at a ribbon cutting ceremony on the 6th May by Ryan DuRussel, CEO STANLEY Security Europe. It was attended by Deceuninck Deforce leadership, their customers and local STANLEY Security and Tools leaders who were given a personal tour of the showroom.
Alistair Compton, Vice President of Sales STANLEY Security said “This new showroom is one if the first steps in establishing STANLEY’s Mechanical Access Solutions in Europe and allows visitors to see the product quality and reliability – key attributes that customers have come to expect from the STANLEY brand. We are forming relationships with distributors across Europe who have built a comparable reputation and can provide the level of service our customers associate with the STANLEY name. Deceuninck Deforce is one such distributor and we are delighted to have worked with them on the new showroom, the first of its kind in Europe.”
The new showroom will provide customers, including architects, designers, property developers and building owners, as well as installers, with a facility where they can see and engage with the product first hand; they can feel the quality and the different finishes and can directly compare and contrast the products with confidence. This aspect is fundamentally important for a product that potentially receives considerable wear and tear and that may be visible within a property.
It is expected that STANLEY Security Mechanical Access Solutions showrooms will be developed in other key European countries as distribution partners are appointed. This process is already well under way, with STANLEY recently announcing it has signed a distribution agreement with Duffells in the UK, a well established distributor of locks, security, ironmongery, UPVC repair and other specialist locking products with an excellent reputation for customer service.
