Local authorities, housing associations and other organisations looking to meet the security requirements of the Secured By Design (SBD) scheme can now get a helping hand from Videx. Specifiers can therefore confidently include them within building their designs as they will help to achieve SBD building accreditation and meet planning requirements.

If not, there is the risk that subsequent inspections by Crime Prevention Design Advisors (CPDA) may lead to replacement equipment being required. The guide gives precise information on product feature requirements for specific sizes of dwellings.
