The ‘find my local locksmith’ directory, launched by The Locksmith Journal in October 2015, has received 15,000 visits over the past 3 months.
Visitors to Mylocallocksmith.com have been using the website to find a locksmith near them and have submitted positive reviews about their experiences. Earlier this month, for example, Lyme Locks received a 5 out of 5 rating from a happy customer who had used the directory, along with comments to say, “Skilled, reliable, professional service – with a positive attitude and always willing to advise. Highly recommended.”
In just over a year, the directory site is coming top of Google for the most commonly used search words, with more and more locksmiths logging on to claim their listing as a result of its growing popularity and effective lead generation. And, unlike some other directories, Mylocallocksmith.com only allows one listing per company. Members of the public, are asked to enter their postcode and are given search results for all the local locksmiths for up to a 20-mile radius.
