ABUS now offer a comprehensive range of work safety products that fall under the Lockout/Tagout category (LOTO). “Lockout” is the physical action of locking off switches or valves to industrial machinery. “Tagout” refers to the marking of important lockout points with information or warning signs. The new ABUS Safety Redbox™ offers the solution: Only the foreman has to lock out all the access points and then put the different keys in to the box. Individual ‘gatekeepers’ then lock the Safety Redbox™ with their personalized padlock, with all their keys safely stored during the maintenance process. ABUS offers the new Safety Redbox™ as an individual item, or as starter kits containing Lockout padlocks and hasps to implement the LOTO process.
