A new in-store display unit from ARRONE is being rolled out at trade counters across the country to help locksmiths select the latest security products.
The new ‘all locked up’ counter or wall display unit includes working samples of three different size brass padlocks, a fingerprint reading padlock, and a key safe.
Top brass
All three brass padlocks – 30mm, 40mm and 50mm options – feature hardened steel shackles. Being made from brass, the padlocks are resistant to rust making them suitable for high moisture applications and outdoor use. With such versatile applications, these padlocks are a popular choice for both domestic and commercial use at a cost-effective price point.
The padlocks are available with two different keying options: keyed to differ or keyed alike. Padlocks that are keyed to differ can only be opened by the keys supplied in the box. Keyed alike is ideal for users that need to use several padlocks but doesn’t want to have multiple keys. Rather than having to switch keys to open each padlock, this keying method allows a single key to be used, saving time and reducing the risk of lost keys.
Going digital
The AR90/54 padlock can be unlocked using just a fingerprint and responds to recognised prints in less than a second. Up to 20 fingerprints can be stored allowing multiple users to access the same lock.
The Zinc housing and steel alloy shackle provide enhanced tamper and corrosion resistance. The padlock can be used indoors and outdoors, making it suitable for securing lockers, sheds and bicycles. With a long-lasting, rechargeable battery, the FingerScan Padlock can be used for up to 200 days from a single charge and uses a standard USB power cable to recharge.
Secret code
If several people need access to a home, the ARRONE Key Safe allows homeowners to store keys in a secure and convenient place of their choosing. It’s ideal for family members, holiday lets, tradespeople and carers. The wall-mounted, indoor and outdoor key safe box comes with mounting screws, is easy to set up and just needs a four-digit code (set by the homeowner) to gain access.
