Yale has introduced a new RIBA-accredited CPD seminar; Specifying Windows and Doors: Safety, Security, Means of Escape and Best Value, to provide expert advice on safeguarding residents and properties.
Yale’s new CPD includes information on the latest building regulations and British standards to educate attendees and provides up-to-date information to help specifiers select hardware that will not only successfully address safety, security and fire escape issues, but will see also explore how developments in products affect functionality and life expectancy, and subsequently long term best value, for both the refurbishment and new build market.
Neil Rabbitts, Specification Sales Manager for Yale Door and Window Solutions, said: “Specifiers and building owners have a duty of care to their residents to ensure that they are safe, secure and the property meets their needs. The new seminar aims to educate delegates on how to achieve this.
“As legislation is continually evolving, we aim to help building specifiers understand the latest standards and advice available, so they can make good choices and avoid costly mistakes with window and door ironmongery specification.”
