Lockex 2018 – Security & Fire Safety took place last weekend drawing exhibitors and visitors from across several sectors and industries. Loctaed at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena on the 8th, 9th and 10th June, the exhibition showcased the very best products and services available to today’s locksmiths with displays and demonstrations from everyone from Aldridge to Yale. The dedicated auto locksmith area also showcased a full ‘program’, while the expansion of the event’s horizons to include security and fire safety attracted an equally diverse crowd of visitors, including specifiers, architects, and facilities managers.
Professional workshops and masterclasses held across the weekend were also well attended with visitors enjoying seminars on everything from safe engineering to security door installation. Highlights of the weekend undoubtedly included live broadcasting from Fix Radio on Friday; brand new to Lockex 2018, plus the Burg Wächter cafeteria serving German fare throughout the day (and free beers in the afternoon!)
