VBH has added the Yale Keyless Digital Lock to its range to sit beside the successful Yale Keyfree as the company’s main electronic door access solutions.
Keyless allows home-owners to access their flush timber or composite door without a key in much the same way that Keyfree does on PVCu and rebated timber doors. Access is gained by entering a 4-12 digit Family PIN code into the weather resistant touch-screen key pad.
As well as the Family PIN, it is possible to set temporary Visitor PINs, making Keyless ideal for those relying on home visits, such as the old or infirm.
Keyless is completely stand-alone, with no wiring, and is powered by 4 standard AA batteries that will operate for approximately 10000 functions before signalling that replacements are due.
Each set is supplied in retail packaging and includes polished chrome 60mm Yale Nightlatch and a silver internal electro-pad, along with a polished chrome external Keyless unit.
VBH Timber Product Manager Simon Eshelby states ‘Since the publication of our Timber catalogue earlier this year we’re enjoying a dramatic rise in the number of joinery companies that want to use VBH as their main hardware supplier. These customers want a mix of traditional hardware and new innovation so Keyless has gone down very well with them, helping them to achieve more sales and greater profit. The retail packaging also makes Keyless very attractive to our customers who sell hardware direct to the end-user through websites and trade counters.’
Yale Keyless and Keyfree are both available from stock at VBH.
