The Skills for Security100 in 100 campaign 2012 – to place 100 new apprentices in the security sector in 100 days – was launched at IFSEC this year. Following the success of the first campaign last year when 184 young people were employed as apprentices by security companies, the campaign’s founders and supporters said that they are determined to equal or exceed this result in 2012.
Also at IFSEC, the Engineers of Tomorrow apprentice skills challenge took place SFS congratulated all the participants on the high standards they achieved. The top three teams – those with the highest scores from all four days of the competition – will be receiving their prizes at the Security Excellence Awards in October.
